After raising two children to adulthood as a single parent and working 23 years in the private sector and then 13 years in the public sector, Rebecca returned to college completed her B.S in Public Administration. Her own experience with addiction and many years recovery inspired her to help other women seeking recovery. In February of 2021, she completed UCLA's Continuing Education Drug and Alcohol Counseling certification program.
Born and raised in Pasadena, Casa provided her with the opportunity for her to give back to the women of the recovery community in her hometown. She plans to continue her education by pursuing her master's degree in addiction studies. Rebecca hopes that her life is a testament to the fact that it's never too late for new beginnings. It’s never too late to go back to school. “One truly can recover and live the life they want.”
In her free time Rebecca loves to volunteer with her church by providing services for the homeless, going to the theater, drinking good coffee, attending sporting events, spending time with her children and watching really bad reality television shows.
