Born in Pasadena and raised by her mother and grandmother, Nashata was inspired by her mother’s 20-year nursing career to pursue a career in the medical field. After graduating from Pasadena City College with a Medical Assistant credential, began working in Residential Treatment facility. “I gained a lot of knowledge about addiction and recovery (working in a treatment facility) and having parents who struggled with addiction.” In addition to working in addiction treatment facilities, Nashata is a licensed phlebotomist. “I receive so much fulfillment working in treatment and helping any way I can. It feels great to be back in my hometown working at Casa Treatment Center as a Medical Assistant.
